Jonathan Cooper Named 2027 DUI/DWI Lawyer of the Year; All Four Knox Defense Attorneys Earn Best Lawyers Recognition

Knox Defense is pleased to announce that all four of the firm’s attorneys have been selected for inclusion in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®, with founding partner Jonathan D. Cooper receiving the publication’s highest metropolitan distinction as the 2027 DUI/DWI Defense “Lawyer of the Year” for Knoxville.

The 2027 honor is Cooper’s fourth Lawyer of the Year award and his third in DUI/DWI Defense.

Jonathan Cooper Earns Fourth Lawyer of the Year Honor

Jonathan D. Cooper has been recognized by Best Lawyers since 2016, making 2027 his 12th consecutive year of inclusion.

For 2027, Cooper is recognized in:

• Criminal Defense: General Practice
• Criminal Defense: White-Collar
• DUI/DWI Defense

He is additionally named the 2027 DUI/DWI Defense “Lawyer of the Year” for the Knoxville metropolitan area.

Only one recognized attorney in each practice area and metropolitan region receives the Lawyer of the Year designation in a given edition.

The 2027 award is Cooper’s fourth Lawyer of the Year honor. He was previously named:
