M. Jeffrey Whitt
Jeffrey Whitt is an established and successful Knoxville criminal defense attorney. He has made a name for himself in State and Federal courtrooms as a formidable trial lawyer. Jeff earned his law degree from Samford in 1991 and holds an undergraduate from Maryville College. He is an active member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers. Jeff founded his Knoxville criminal defense practice in 1994, and the firm that ultimately became Knox Defense in 2001.
An East Tennessee native, Jeff earned All-Conference Honors and was named Collegiate Academic All American. Jeff enjoys football, baseball, and classic cars. He is the proud dad of two thriving kids.
